today we celebrated teachers' day!
HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY IN ADVANCE EVERYONE! :DDD
actually it's more for the teachers...ehehe.
today school ended at 11.15 am. went for project after that.
whoosh. the hostel's so cool. ahahas. floss and weewee and their water fight. ahahaas.
stuffy canteen. but it's so nice and stuffs.
i like the cool afterrain breeze. AWESOME. :)))
project took till six. whoosh.
ahahas. i think windows movie maker is nice. so cool. adobe's cool too.
xDDD fun, all these little applications. once you get to know how to use them.

yesterday the lifts were down. first floor and all the lift doors were open and the open buttons were blinking.
then some people took the stairs.
well. for me, fourty four flights of stairs a lot. so i waited.
and yay! the guards got the lifts working again. ((:
still a little freaked out by the thunderstorm. *gulps*

tomorrow's the first day of the holidays.
got quite a bit of homework to do. plus the revision for exams and lit drama and bible study.

today was an uber rainy day.
rain rain rain. drenched.
was too lazy to take out umbrella. plus, i had a mountain of books in my hands...so erms. hold the umbrella with my mouth? XD

hellos. finally blogging at home. (:
well. these few days it's been feeling pretty hectic.
cos of the english project. i guess.
well, today we presented our english project. almost had to do it tomorrow. but oh wells. doing it today and finishing it off's easier ain't it?
ahahas.
well, playing (or at least i'm just on it) puzzle pirates now.
ahahas. haven't played this game in ages.
just walking around now. in the game i mean. ahhas. i realised i haven't touched maple in ages. yeah.
runescape too.
well, nowaday's there ain't much time for online games. so caught up in other activities.
laadeedums. the oneweek september holiday starts in three days. whoosh.
lots of activities going on.
lit drama practice, bible study (bible quiz next saturday!!!), one legion meeting and all.
well. i want to go out too. but endyear's coming up. AHHHHH.
it seems so far away, yet i know it's in four week's time. homeecons in three.
ONLY A MONTH TO GO.
three weeks to homeecons practical, four weeks to english and homeecons theory, five weeks to the others.
then six weeks to after exams, and also a kind of long marking day holiday. wednesday - exam ongoing for sec threes. thursday - marking day. friday and the next monday too. then tuesday's results processing day. or so the school organiser says. but there's some definite leadership camp on tht monday and tuesday, so probably have to get back to school. but at the least the weekend's longer. (:
can't wait to go out with clareufranyan. ICESKATING.
ahahas. eunice was saying that if i bought that card that enterprise is selling (at two bucks) she would go iceskating with me. then she said that she would pay fifty cents of the price and i pay one fifty and she would still go iceskating with me. ahhaas. gosh. been waiting for quite long.
ahahas. looks like they didn't ban blogger on library computer though they said it's like. not allowed. somehow.
in the school library now. computer lab. doing english project.
today for me, i didn't need to use the computer.
taking on my role as architect. drawing the floor plans.
headaches.
too many little o.1 cm squares can kill. kill the eyes.
ahahas.
the UNers are back for classes today.
things were different without them. so when they came back things reverted back to normal.
homework oh homework. lots of math homework for today.
oh i love this keyboard. so easy to type. soft keys really do make a person using the computer's day.
i think our english project's done.
i went home after school (well, after going to the library to transfer the speech into my thumbdrive) and halfway up the path home i realised i didn't go to the band room to get my euphonium.
so i backed all the way and went up to the band room.
gosh. i was like a few steps away from the glass door at the lobby at home. gosh.
then i saw some juniors and steph. so steph followed me up to the band room (she just came down if i'm correct).
well, upstairs had quite a few people. (:
the SLs were upstairs. saw horns and trombones oiling their instruments and all.
then i signed out my instrument, and got down.
me so stupid to forget to get my instrument.
then i went up home (carrying my heavy heavy eupho xD) and put it down, "borrowed" the computer from drea for a while to print 5 sets of 3 pages of the script for the group.
then had a bite and went back down. got the floor plans and pencilcase and went to the library.
finished the floor plans (which was assigned to me to do during the last fifteen minutes of CME. cos it was like free time for me. did it through philosophy too. thanks mrs alex for not scolding. :D).
then had to go cut the graph paper. thanks lia for the scissors!
then came in here.
well i think i don't really have much to do now.
did my part for now. so i guess all that's left is memorising the script.
headaches suck. suck suck suck. grrs.
oh well. i can actually like go home now or something.
oh ya. got report book back today. but it's not like any of us don't know our marks.

ahaha. in the library again. and yes. still doing english project.
came back from mass a few minutes ago.
whoosh. did reading and responserial psalm.
luckily didn't break down halfway through the reading or something. xD
well yeah. the UN people are kinda back.
well, they never did leave the country in the first place. but they haven't come to school this whole week for lessons though.
well, they do come back for CCAs and stuff like that. right?
ahaha. heard they have dunno what RESOLUTION or something. and i know wahwah isn't in the same group as IJTPians.
they were at hwa chong, having lessons on stuff like debate and all.
poor thing. they have to do so much writing work. gosh.

mass was pretty good. though there were barely twenty people. okay. maybe there were about twenty. (:
legionaries were missing. only emily felicia and me. ahahas.
mrs siau's like so clever. she recorded the songs for the piano, so that no one needed to play.

but it seems more of personal time to do whatever you want to in the library computer lab in the company of your friends. that's why it's nicer to use the computer in the labs. or maybe it's because you don't have a time limit, but you do have a limit of which websites you can go to (actually only schoolwork's allowed), and you have friends around and all.

the other five subjects i got back were pretty good. only left english to be returned. and done (project). ahaha.
suddenly my history shoots up. A1. even better than chinese. woahhs. xD
so it's pretty much mixed feelings. i hate and love this CA2.
and wahwah. YOU DID UBER WELL. can't stand it lah, smart girl! x)
gotta work hard for end years. math wasn't up to my expectations. well. i think i'm deproving in some subjects, yet improving in others too. well. someone told me her marks were turned upside down.
the better ones now bad; the not-so-good ones now good.
sigh. and teachers are complaining that twoone is slacking.
and (no offence) but twotwo's like somehow competiting against us, to get higher marks then us. haha. come to think of it, it's pretty funny in a weird way. XD
can't wait for end of year holidays.
though prayer walk / IJMARGCOMBINED concert just has the wrong date. exact same dates. is God testing me to plan my time properly just cos i asked Him to help me learn how to plan my time and manage it properly?

celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of Mary.
had mass in the chapel after school. legionaries in charge of that mass.
supposed to leave class at 12.40 pm, but mrs tan didn't allow me to leave science cos we were learning a new topic. drawing ray diagrams.
then i left for the chapel at 1.15 pm. history class.
mass practice. whoosh. scary being commentator. ahaha. xD
well. the mass overall turned out pretty good. :DDD

oh ya. had math exam on this day too.

yesterday was a saturday. :D
had band in the morning. GOSH. ran six rounds. plus warm-ups which had an extra touch to it.

okay. for starters, it didn't feel like a friday. in school. it felt like erm monday or something. like after coming back from the weekend break then it's school again. that kinda feeling.

MARANATHA PRAYER MINISTRY RETREAT 2006.

it was fun in different aspects, though i must say. elections made the camp pretty dry on the second day.
it is hard to discuss people's qualities and all.
but, it's good to have an experience. :]
i think one of the fun moments was during the half an hour break from the consensus discussion thing.
though we were supposed to think of what to say, daisy me owl kenny went down to the playground area and well just. RELAXED.
just jumped around, climb up and jump down. uber fun! hahaha. i miss those days when i did these sorta things in the playground. haven't had this feeling in ages.
anyway. it felt good. :DDD
i like the pelican! xDDD

BBQ on the second day was pretty okay too.
though it rained after we went down for about. ten minutes + ?
well, some of us went up with the food and all.
some went back down.
so those who were upstairs prayed for the rain to stop. said a line of prayer each.
and then the rain immediately stopped after the last line of prayer.
continued with one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be.
thanks Lord! :DD
sadly laterrrr on it started to rain again.
and the people downstairs were determined to finish cooking the food, so that we don't waste it.

then on sunday, i went for 930 mass at risen christ. had to be in school by 11.15 am.
went with mummy.
then later on brisk walked to school.
prepared for ISTANA PERFORMANCE.
well, we played for fourty five minutes. but the president didn't turn up while we were playing, though he said he would.
oh yes. he shaked my friend's hand! ahahas.
hmms. cos she didn't go to the toilet while the rest of us did. so while we were laughing like some idiots or something o nthe way to the toilet, she was there. ahahas.
the trip to the toilet was so retarded!
we were like laughing. and laughing. and then we walked all the way to the toilet only to - walk back. hahaha. we didn't use the toilet, FYI. ahaha.
well, istana was okay. had a tour around the first level of istana, which was a nicely furnished place with displays of items (gifts) from different countries. lovely. :D
well, we waited an hour to have a picture taken with the president.
whoops some of us were late. cos we went to get a drink.
a can of coke / a bottle of water costs two dollars. gosh.
well, we ran back, but the president wasn't there yet.
so we waited. and waited.
hahas for one point of time june and i just went to sit down. xD heehees.
and we're taller than rachel and meifern! cos they were in front of us.
and joanna was wayyy down. hahahahaha. xDDDDDDDD
well, after that we had a farewell lunch for rach.
but joanna didn't want to follow.

we went to yoshi! xD but i was too full from the two currypuffs, so i went to NTUC and bought a drink.

at first only i wanted to eat the brownie and ice cream, but later on i ended up sharing with june.
ahaha. meifern rach and shuyi were just sitting there. heehees. then shuyi had to go off.

then we all say byebye to rach cos she take bus. the rest of us took mrt to toa payoh.

actually picked out harry potter and the half blood prince and the four artemis fowl books. but ended up getting harry potter and another book which seemed nice, even though i haven't heard of the author before.

and floss, if you're reading. I SAW FLYTE. darns, only available in hardcover, so it costs THIRTY TWO SEVENTY FIVE. i think. gosh. and the paperback MAGYK costs seventeen something only. ughh.

well, let's see.

yesterday was a pretty free day for me? not really actually. stayed back to pan shot the school (actually we just needed eliza). also photocopied our geography surveys. won owes me fifteen cents. hahas.
then. instead of downloading the video and editing the rest of the stuff (cos the computer we needed to downloaded directly in was in use for a competition), van floss won and i stayed in the computer lab and well. illegally used it to blog. actually they didn't say it isn't allowed (not directly as least). but. oh well. hahahas. xD
then after deciding that the computer was lagging and all. decided to go home. hahas.
but i apparently didn't use after coming home. math graph homework. it's getting a little scary. 0.0

i cannot do math under pressure. i can't work under pressure most of the time. arghs. not good, not good...
i have to draw graphs faster. much faster. curved ones especially. ahhhhh..!

we cooked chicken rice today. made agar agar too. except that.
the supposed AGAR AGAR was more of SOFT SOFT LIQUID. with fruit cocktail.
oh gosh. seriously lah.
I DONT LIKE MAKING AGAR AGAR already.
but lianne thea alyssa and me; our agar agar though liquidfied, was pretty delicious as a drink. hehs.
unfairness. and the other half of the class - their's was PERFECTLY FORMED/SOLID.

chicken rice - heh. a little burnt. we had to do the traditional method (boil it.) that's for the even-numbered tables. for the odd-numbered tables, they had the advantage to a rice cooker. though the dark sauce didn't go through all the rice. (wasn't instructed to mix the chicken and rice in the cooker i guess).
but it was nice. xD whee!

morning prayer! whee! at least people are coming. :)) that's so nice.
had lessons as per normal till 12. cos estee and i had to go play for ms tan's farewell assembly.
so we did our online survery about the school during CME period. then we had to leave at the second period, for assembly.
actually, the brass section just needs to play the fanfare. hahas. we're the first "item". play fanfare when ms tan enters.
wow. today's assembly was really emotional for ms tan. was sitting in front of her.
well. ms tan is a very nice principal. so sad that principals are only allowed five years to serve. and this is ms tan's fifth year. gosh. i don't want her to go. seriously.

well, later on there was band. was trying to "play" queen's park cos i didn't have a score to bring back to well. look through. hahas. speaking of which, i better go write bar numbers and all on the scores for istana and all. hahas. oh yes.

honour's day.
yep. to honour the people who got third and above for a subject, for the CCA people, for the performers - performing CCAs. well, some of them.
started off with getting to the band room earlier. then a run through of the two songs, cartoon symphony and shrek dance.
:DDD the songs are like so nice. shrek dance felt. more familiar. and i guess it sounded better than cartoon.
oh yes. then the fanfare players went down to the hall. BUT. we were down too early. saw mr chan and he told us so. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DOWN ONLY ONE HOUR LATER. hahahas.
and so we went up. oh wait. only after we went up did we do warmups and a run through. yepyep. :D
then we went down (for real). oh ya, thanks shalyn for helping us carry our files and stands. xD hahas.
then we went for fanfare. THE REAL THING. :D
after that rushed to put our instruments down and went to sit at our seats (for the prizewinners). hahas. went in and interrupted the others halfway during the video thingy. heehees.
then went up to collect the prize. woah. got extra instructions? ("wait at the steps" or something. and "now, let's turn and look at the camera and smile" hahas. so weird. but yeah.)
shakes hand. *face camera...* walks to some point on the stage. has to bow. walks off and down to where the band is.
hahas. you know, the envelope's empty. have to collect the prize later.
then after waiting for quite some time, we went up and played cartoon and shrek. whee! though the positioning seemed a bit off, it was fun. :D i love it when i get high over music! hahas. xD
you should try that. :))
then we waited at the side. but we were kinda blocking a whole lot of space, so we went down and waited for a while more.
gosh. the food looked super tempting! hahas. especially the siew mai and chocolate brownies!

then it was time for the school song. went up, and after the speech, we practically half-walked half-marched in. then it was time to play.
yay! we finally memorised the school song properly! erms. yeah!
but when stress comes, the notes fly away...heh.

we were released for a half an hour break. but had to go up and put instruments down first.
went to collect our prizes first then went for the food. hahas. the adults' food was much better than the students' food. hmmphs.
hahas. but the food was not too bad. :D
siew mai and brownies were taken pretty fast. managed to get two brownies but alyssa didn't have any so i just gave her one. ooh. the brownies were yummy! xD
there was also erm. mini pizzas, sandwiches, fruit punch, samosa? ya. and other little cakes.
whee!hahahas.

then we had band practice. till one pm. but it ended a little late, with the announcement of the band comm and our own honour's day - honours to:

and ... whoops. i can't remember.
then hsi wen and phoebe had their last words as band and drum majors.
some cried. some smiled.

30 july 2006 sunday. today.
started the day with waking up! :D
had cath class. hahas. there seemed to be fewer people. and class ended quite early.
went down to the canteen. run by the youth today! :DDD
EAST MEETS WEST.
well. my name wasn't on the duty roster, so i just helped out here and there.
started with an assigned duty by owl. to clear and clean up the tables. hmm.
green cups to the coffee area, red cups and bowls to uncle. okay. xD
then later on i was washing. okays.
then went on to helping the uncle and lady at the snacks.
then well. ate, and helped around.
hahas. was bored so i cleaned up the food area (which was pretty dirty.) and well. yeah. it looked better and hahas. it's better to have a neater area right? xD hahas.
so much food on sale. whee!
then. it was 12.40. so i was like okay, still have twenty more minutes before having to meet clar, fran and yan. so i continued to help, then the crowds came, and things got real busy. hahas thank God for the helper the snacks "store" got.
then suddenly realised that it was one. WHOOPS. so i really rushed to j8. was fifeen minutes late. sorry!
then we went for lakehouse! and lunch at macs. well, only clar didn't eat lunch yet so i bought a milkshake (got real thirsty after that..) and fran bought ice lemon tea and yan bought mcflurry. clar bought a meal.
then we went to NTUC for snacks, and then movie.
hahas. disturbed rach at thai express. xD
hmm. went up to the fourth floor.

why she brought it: everytime someone said "shit", she had to put 20 cents in the toilet bowl and she can "flush it". hahas.

band in the morning - the game we played was uber funny. A HUGE BALL. two teams; push the ball into the goal of the opponent's team. haha. it was so heavy, and it was not supposed to be lifted off the ground but...it was really lifted off the ground quite a few times. heh. i saw a match where the ball was lifted and all of them were just stretching out their arms and all with the ball RIGHT ON TOP.
hahaha. so funny!
and yeah! we won~! :DDD
then after band it was time to get over to church. :DDD
i was supposed to be there a little earlier, but well. i guess i couldn't since there was band.
played games. haha. first one was the belly thing; pass the number.
second one was the pail of water, and the apple. had to take a bite out of it. goodness. 0.0 you just had to dunk your WHOLE HEAD IN. seriously.
then later on it was prayer session. :)
and then after meeting some went for mass, some dunno went where, some helped with the banana sales, drea and aaron went to get the pizza for later on.

WE HAD OUR PRAYER RALLY PARTY. whee!
it was pretty fun, held at that park. nice place. :D
i still love the playground.then there was like some award giving ceremony. hahas. super funny.

drea, drey and i got real high and started singing lame songs. we started off with actually commentating on the soccer match some were having, and then when the ball got out i would say "YELLOW CARD!" and drea "RED CARD!" and then drey would say the player's name and we would all go "YOU'RE OUT!", and start laughing hysterically. hahahahaa. XDDDDDDDDD
super funny.
then we also sang some songs. haha. i like tiny tim. so cute lah the song! :DDDD
well. it's not everyday that you get a chance to have fun with your sisters to that extent. :))
then we had to go home. due to the late timing...taxi!

sunday 23 july.
went for 7 am mass. saw lyn owl joel sean and went for mass with them.
whee. it's not every week that i go for 7 am. hahas. xD
then i helped out in banana walnut sales, though i didn't manage to sell any. :/ 0700 and 0815 don't really want to buy. sadly.
bought breakfast from the canteen. whee! hahaha. yums.
vending machine ate up lyn's one dollar. poor thing.
laadeedums. soon it was time to go for cath class.
okay. it seemed like the catechists were angry at us or something. we had to go on a TREASURE HUNT.
started with us waiting in class till it was about 10 when joseph came in with a sign that said "no catechism classes for the rest of the year". all of us were like "huh?" and "haha ya funny funny. trick us one lah." yeah.
and then some went over to the catechist resource room as instructed (for more information) and we got this. list.
well. in the end (after running all around), i managed to find an envelope. well, it was actually with the people all the while lah! or maybe they got it afterwards...but yeah. haha. heard that the girls gave the location to find the envelopes, and the guys went to get it. hah.
and well yep. it was actually a sorta test. (we girls figured that it would be something like that and yeah. we were right! XD )
yep. what a FUN class. heh.
then after that, rushed off to one level above - the attic. for cc4 presentation. well, they kinda guessed there was some sorta presentation cos "all the youth groups were there". yep.
was so nervous and all when it was going to be our turn. well. some comments were that my entry was - too long. but well. at least i did it! :D heehee.

well, honour's day rehearsal was pretty simple. and fast. most of the time was spent staring into space OR watching the badminton girls play badminton. haha.
when we got to band, it was five minutes to the end of sectionals.
lalala. so it was full band. played stand up for singapore before warmups. hahaha.

so sad that the iceball shop beside the ramly burger/yucky (whoops) iceblends/nice oreo blends/cheeze fries! shop is like no longer that popular. now the other shop's the one with the long queues, and the iceball shop. forgotten.
but now the iceball's like bigger and all. hahas. to think this deserted shop was once popular.
oh ya, and those twiggy cakes thing's pretty nice. :D

after school there's AMC at 2 pm, LEGION at 2.30 pm and BAND at 2.30 pm.
wow. like what am i supposed to go for??
in the end i went for BAND. cos it was honour's day rehearsal.
sighh. i wonder how legion went.

well. we played school song. and i forgot my notes again. sheesh.

drama night was a blast! though for INTENSE EYE the group was split up halfway cos half turned the other route.., it was okay. :D pretty good since it's their first drama night, not combined with anyone or something.

well. all i can remember is that on this day, tuesday, there was legion after school, and ushering practice too.
wheeheehees. once there is something on - e.g. band, then you won't see anyone writing minutes. hmm. people really don't think before writing...oh wells.
legion legion. i thank God for the members, and their committment. it's nice to see more than five people gathered together as well. a family. :D
during the holidays there were just so few members coming. gosh. back then i would have just banged my head on the wall.

ushering practice. one hour late due to legion, but it's okay. :D
OH GOSH. i can hear the LD girls now (20 july thursday) practising downstairs at school. I'M SERIOUS.

last time i blogged was last wednesday. 0.0

morning prayer has been pretty okay. just that saying prayers in the morning; well my throat hurts in mornings. that's why early mornings when i just wake up ain't the best time of the day.

saturday.
band in the morning. hahahaa. i never really thought that they'd take the games comment so seriously. but it was pretty different. six rounds on the track for the sec ones, seven for the seniors. then there were stretching exercises before and after the run. pretty short, and it really wasn't much of stretching.
then we played. FRISBEE.
okay. i don't think i like frisbee that much. ran round on the muddy field (luckily not too muddy) and all. haha. we lost. unfair lah meifern! catching it on the drain's considered? hmmph. hahaha. anyway. the losing teams had to run two rounds. hahas. so retarded. june and i started too fast and our legs hurt halfway through. XD
haha. and to think june and i wanted to try and ignore meifern. XD (it didn't work out, that ignoring bit) so yeah.
sectionals and mr chan's conducting. and the exercise 90 for the untested sec threes. haha i am NOT sec three.
then tried 91. darn. sec twos have to play it the next time we have band.

maranatha. we surprised the cc3 attachments! though not all were there. hahas. i didn't know what was going on cos i was banned from the computer, just cos i overshot for 10 minutes. darn.
then well. the INTRODUCTION game was like so lame and all.

then after that was zunjie's wedding! :DDD so cool. it's not everyday that there's a relative's marriage. so cool.

catechism in the morning! oh ya. when i went to church on saturday, it felt so long since i stepped into church. sigh.

then helped out in selling sweet secret stuff! ooh. the muffins went from 3 for $5 to 3 for $2. those who didn't buy it...really missed out man. ooh. the muffins were yum!

well. it was just a normal monday. for CME, habits of the mind, we were told to go out and take a mental picture of something. then later we had to describe it to our partners who would draw it.
lalala. then there was this six squares thing that well. hahas. it seemed so weird that the one-word descriptions actually fitted what it meant and all. so weird. hahahaa.
had that science lesson. i don't believe it was two hours. gosh. a bit of stoning, feeling like sleeping, etc etc etc.

and now it's time to go.

hehes. the desire and want to change the blog and skin has not yet come; so it'll stay like this for quite a while.

yesterday (tuesday) there was this war memorial sites visiting.
visited bukit chandu, labrador park (leh-brea-dor park) and kranji war memorial.
bukit chandu was. at pepys road. hahaha. i remember that one. :D cos the name of the road was like so cute. pepys. peh-pees. xD anyway. bukit chandu was the one with...the museum and that war film. gosh. the film like really brought you into the war. all senses activated (except smell and taste). emo. hahas. i know our admission fee was one dollar.

labrador park was this secret tunnel places. there were two tunnels. one with aircon and three segments to it - the main place with that oil pipe thing (that looked like a cave; or a place where they fired their guns according to ms chye), the newspaper articles room, and the video room. this one was bombed to hide it by the british.
the second tunnel had no aircon, i don't know where the air came from though. the ventillation holes on the top (used in the war times) were sealed up, i think. anyway then this one was pretty stuffy, but not too bad. saw the shells, the storage place, the lamp-lighting area, the lamps and for one part of the place it was pretty scary. this one was like walking through a maze or something. and it was all dark and creepy. i think at the ending part when we were walking down that longgg walkway, at the back the lights like flickered or something and there was some sorta noise and then the back girls like were freaked out and started RUNNING. woahs. xD

kranji war memorial. the place where all the bodies of the soldiers are buried, were the state cemetery is (the bodies of the presidents who died while being a president) and the memorial wall, were the unfound bodies' names are.

and well. it was a good experience. both for history and for literature - we're doing journey's end. a war play. lalalas.

yay. it seems that i hardly have homework today. hahas. i feel so free. :DDD
i wanna go out. mmph.

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven-year-old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.

This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain.
The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said; "OK dad, I'm ready."

His Pastor dad asked, "Ready for what?"

"Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out."

Dad responds, "Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain."

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking "But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?"

Dad answers, "Son, I am not going out in this weather."

Despondently, the boy ask, "Dad, can I go? Please?"

His father hesitated for a moment then said, "Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful, son."

"Thanks Dad!" And with that, he was off and out into the rain. This eleven-year-old boy walked the streets of the town going from door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract. After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST TRACT.

He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted.
Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell.
He rang the bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.
Finally, this eleven-year-old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him.

Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch. He rang again and this time the door slowly opened.

Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, "What can I do for you, son?"

With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said,"Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His great LOVE."

With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed. "Thank you, son! And God Bless You!"

Well, the following Sunday morning in church, Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, "Does anybody have a testimony or want to say anything?"

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face, "No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before. You see, before last Sunday, I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.
Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.
So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck.

Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me.I thought, 'I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away. I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.'

I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder. When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life.

His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.'

Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand. As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more. You see I am now a Happy Child of the KING.

Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract; I have come here to personally say THANK YOU TO God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from eternity in hell."

There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated. He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.

Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son except for One. This Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named. Blessed are your eyes for reading this message...Don't let this message die, read it again and pass it to others.We will meet in Heaven.

an awesome day, an awesome occassion.
youth prayer rally 2006. simply ah! :DDD
my day started with band. actually blogging (heh look at the previous post).
super sad i couldn't go for primary school carnival. heard it was good! :/ oh wells.
then after band. oh dang. -.-
then got held up for a real long time. apparently i was giving up practice hours at church for prayer rally because of this thing. sighs.

anyway. by the time i got to church (after a quick shower and change of clothes), it was like. 4 pm. spiritual prep was over, and everyone was going to everyone's houses to bathe and change. so when i went there: poof! we're done. that kind of thing.
oh wells. but everything went smoothly! finally decided on how to put the MY ONE DESIRE words. but sadly they were only showcased for that short while. :/
hahas. it is now on display at the attic. xD
then. then. then. whee-hee!
stoned in the attic while waiting for everyone to come back. the people with the uber formal clothes and ties. like woah. 0.0
made me feel so informal.

+ guitar night. whees. pretty fun today. for the after-interval part, ushers just went down to eat some of the leftovers (charsiew bao. some brown jelly-like thing with sugar?). and the sharing of our little tricks. hehehe. and meifern's weird green hoop and string, which totally facinates us all. yay. i did two of those tricks. only one working all the time though.

i don't know whether to be pissed or what.
went for a run in the morning.
or something like that at least.
i don't feel like i've exercised enough.
grr.
anyway. supposed to wake up at 7.15. but when my maid woke me up saying that my mum told her to wake me up cos i told my mum, i was like "huh?" and fell asleep again. but i finally woke up at 7.30 instead. heh.
then i went to wake amelia up cos she didn't want to. -.-
amelia, it's tough waking you up. (not like i didn't know) and well. i finally woke her up. yay..?
then ate a light breakfast (full..!)
walked to the toa payoh stadium. oh yes, by the time we left home it was 8.30...grr. and when we arrived at our destination...there were loads of people. as in those trackers and training-ups and all. grr. there was this family then apparently went for the same reason me and my sis went. but then well. amelia apparently didn't want to run or even a slow jog that was the same speed she was walking. grrr. got pretty pissed with her. wanted to punch her mann.
then after she walked and i attempted to make her jog (i was half-jogging-half-walking..) FOR ONLY ONE ROUND AROUND THE TRACK, i got pissed and just decided to get out of the place since there was no use in being there and wasting space, energy and time.
so we walked back. but i went to the park and she like. had no choice but to follow? then once again a futile attempt to make her run / jog. she just walked. GRR. at that point of time i really wanted to blow. oh yes, before that we went to climb the steps of the watchtower (?) in the park. grr. slowness again. then when we reached the top i just had to tell her. pissed, and why can't she push herself more. then i thought i heard the gate of the towerthing close.

then we went down two flights, i looked down, and saw the door open. it was a HUGE mistake to tell her it was open. grr. amelia just went back to her blithe self. grrrs.
well. in the end. (after dunno how long) i managed to get her to jog a bit, then when i went one direction she went the other (ON PURPOSE) and ran like mad (cos it was a circle so she would eventually get back to me) towards my direction. i glared at her for a while, then decided to just run ahead and continue with my intended path. so when i met her i told her, 'hey, go that way' (points back in the direction she came from). she groans. "what? go back?!? i just ran here lor." that kind of thing. i shrug. 'no choice for you' flashes across my face.
and yeah. so we continued. the quite-often stopping of amelia occured. and well. when we got to the brown planks area, i told her that we would sprint then take a WALK around. groaning occurs again. but she still ran. and yup. FINALLY WE EXERCISED.
and then we went to walk. haha stepped on those stone pebbles (for the old people? hahas). yep it hurt but it's good for the feet. blood circulation :D
then after our stupid exercise, we went to BK. i decided to be nice (haha) and treated us both to HERSHEYS SUNDAE PIE. ohh it's yummy! hahas. later on regretted buying two as we could have bought something better. oh wells.
walked round looking for ideas. then later on bought passion fruit ice blended (bubble tea?) from sweettalk. yep.

hahaha. this is one lengthy post. or so it seems. oh well. gotta rush for homework, and finish my session. and write a testimonial. :D

woke up bright and early in the morning. today's been a real tiring day. and it seems like the rest of my holidays are going to be either equally tiring or worse than this.
went to the ADA again today. :)
being with the more severe ones just seemed. like i was doing something more, like it was more, well, fun.
or maybe because i wasn't with anyone else at the more severe side cos there was only cheryl and me.
usual morning activites, exercise, teatime, lunch, walked the old folks, teatime and games/whatever else.
was tired at the end of the day.
well, it was worth it. nursing student came over too. she's pretty good with the old folks eh. x)

went to church to plan session. meeting time was 7. i reach at 6.35. mich appeared at 7.20. daisy at...7.30+?

went out with my grandma and sis.
arcade and shopping. or so it seems. hahahas.
it's nice to have these sorta outings once in a while. :D

sigh. this year's church camp has really proven to be quite a camp. it so rocks!!

well. people in class are beginning to talk with each other. and as clara said, it really strengthened the friendships in class. :)) and i saw the side of some whom i never really thought they would be. :) and it's positive, chill.

tired like UGH lah. humid, hot and sweaty. but the market people are pretty nice. haha some oldies are like so friendly. xD overall it was okay.
then we walked to braddell. had a short break. intended to go j8 cos mr chan allowed us to. xD
but we decided not to, and took mrt to novena instead.
did at novena church area. didn't get much cos we were at the overhead bridge. and clar, paula and fran got THAT entrance. but then most people donated already. cos they walked by the walkway. darns i knew we should have stayed at the walkway. oh wells.
OH OH and there were nice people too! and friendly ones too.
there was this old man who at first said he had no money, then said he was joking. then after he donated, he said this :

"when you read don't memorise. analyse."

i was thinking "wow. it's like...words from the wise. words from God?" who knows, who knows. :)
then we went back to return our tins at 12.50+.
paula's tin was like so heavy. she and clar got like how much at the market.
haha. during the process of queueing up and returning the tins, there was this like pasting the extra stickers on everyone's backs "fight". hahahahaha. in the end alyssa had like loads of her back, so i tried pasting the initials "NAF" -national arthritis foundation- on her bag, but it didn't really look like it cos there wasn't much space and the stickers were falling off. hahas.
had a packet of fries at long john's. yum! :DDD
then took mrt from novena to toa payoh.
maranatha. BURNING PAPER IS DANGEROUS AND HAZARDOUS. tea bags make your hand yellow and smelly.
breathed in two breaths of ash altogether. luckily not more, but it was an overall health hazardous activity. whoosh.
tea bags were funny and fun and makes-your-hand-yellow-and-smell-of-lipton and hopefully the papers are nice. a safer method we hope.
went home from dinner earlier than what i would usually come back from. hmms.

time seems to be passing so fast overall.
but for flag day at the market, time was passing pretty slow. at novena it wasn't as bad.
days pass fast. minutes and hours passed slow today. but usually time passes at the speed of light. SUPER FAST for those who don't get it. hahas. joking only :D

i did horribly. ugh i can't stand it.
today was just sitting in G301, aircon!, and waiting for teachers to come in with our exam scripts and checking it and getting depressed over our results. for some, not all.
hahaha. and the answer IS limestone. wait. the question's like wrong.

3. 8 hours daily sleep - 130 days GONE. Days left 141.
4. 1 hour for daily playing- (good for health) means 15 days. Days left 126.
5. 2 hours daily for food & other delicacies (chewing properly & swallowing) - means 30 days. Days left 96.
